In our troubled world, it is the pivotal time for a guiding light—a beacon in the fog—a fuller connection to the Source of our Being. It is time for a revolutionary path to follow that activates something greater within us.
Enlightened people in this era understand a Self that resides within us as an all-encompassing loving wisdom. There is a word for this which comes from Sanskrit—the deviurgos—the language of the Angels, which contains 500 words for love. Sanskrit is the most ancient spiritual language, and this angelic word for love is prema.
Prema encompasses all love
In the greatest and highest magnitude.
Prema is the most sacred,
Perfect and natural boundless love.
Prema is the love of peace and the peace of love.

In fact, Prema is the oldest spiritual path. In reality, it is the broader term for a powerful yogic, heart-based, exploration and attainment of ever-evolving Higher Consciousness as a lifestyle. The word yoga in Sanskrit means a union with God through a unifying way of life. To unify with God as the continuously evolving higher consciousness of love within you is to practice prema yoga. These Higher Conscious states are ever-evolving. They are an asymptotic curve, meaning they never reach their pinnacle. In other words, prema yoga is the study and application of infinite wisdom and infinite love.
Prema as a power within you stimulates the seeking of expression in daily life in the form of spiritual virtues. And what are these virtues?
They are the very spiritual virtues so many are now seeking to develop:
- an unbridled tenderness and compassion;
- the peace profound of this non-violent nature toward all God’s creatures;
- the natural joy of living that expands infinitely in the human heart;
- the sense of divine purpose;
- unwavering respect for the law of cause and effect.
In Sanskrit, non-violence and a tender compassion are ahimsa. Peace profound is shanti. Ananda is the ever-expanding natural joy of living. The divine purpose is dharma. The respect for the effects of our actions is karma.
These virtues are developed through sankalpa—your spiritual will power, and saucha—the spiritual purity of your uncorrupted nature.
Our children are born with these virtues naturally, and in their earliest years, they yearn for us to help these virtues activate. But, they suffer because we’ve lost the sense of our own divinity. Competition, intolerance and cruelty are exalted in our young, because we’ve forgotten to teach our children the peaceful way of loving and supporting each other. Terrorism operates in the masses. Corruption operates at the highest levels of politics and industry. Diseases thrive because we’ve forgotten to apply the principles of love, happiness and non-violence to our own bodies.
For too long we have been taught to accept hatred, greed, prejudice and war instead of love, freedom, tolerance and peace.
Look around you. Read the newspapers.
One child dies every thirty seconds from starvation at the same time that one billion people in the world are obese and riddled with disease. Half the children in the world are illiterate. In our country, autism is the new epidemic caused by the cruelest suppression of freedom and information. In 1985 this tragic iatrogenic disease afflicted one in 5000 children. Today, autism destroys the brains of one in 150 American children. Iatrogenic means caused by medical treatment.
Our most costly and often mandatory medical treatments of chemotherapy and radiation help mitigate the devastation of only 2-4% of cancers, yet, our children who die now more from cancer than any other cause are legally forced to receive chemotherapy and radiation. Parents who choose otherwise face legal action to keep their children. Our doctors, who command the position of expertise in our lives, die 15 years earlier than the rest of our population. Our health care system will bankrupt our country unless we are freely given the right to know about the New Cellular Science of the Future that puts us in control to be healthier than ever before NOW.
But this information is suppressed, because it will erode the profits of the industries that need you to be sick in order to make their billions.
In our society, nobody gets rich when you get well.
Health is a Spiritual Choice, not a Profit Center
It is time for a new path of living that includes the guiding principles of health—the principles that are and have always been spiritual—so that we can now intervene and turn the tide against epidemics of disease. And, by Grace and Progress, this is the time when we are able to access to the cutting-edge methodology on how to care for ourselves, so that our right to be healthy can no longer be trampled by greed, and lawless and unjust policies.
We are wreaking havoc on our eco-system. Rather than kindly stewarding the other creatures and the land, as the Bible directed in Genesis, we ruthlessly destroy our resources, largely because we cruelly raise and slaughter the animals and then we ruthlessly slaughter each other. Our land becomes arid, and our water supplies dangerously diminish. New continents of plastic choke our oceans. Eighty thousand chemicals taint our food, air and water. We unknowingly take these into our bodies and destroy ourselves and lead miserable lives…
Because the solutions to our problems come from the profiteers—not the prophets.
Who will point the way to a new direction?

Of vice and injustice in the world;
And thus I incarnate from age to age

The destruction of the wicked,
And the establishment of righteousness.
Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita
Prema was first introduced in the recorded history of the world by the Avatar Krishna, who initiated the legendary Immortal King of the Yogis Babaji five thousand years ago. Krishna created prema as Babaji’s divine nature, and the Magnificent Immortal Babaji has regenerated Himself as the shining and youthful embodiment of Divine Love and Wisdom in every era so that He might imbue prema into the prophets, who have guided every tradition.
Babaji sent Prema to the West through Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the classic book Autobiography of a Yogi. But we turned away in his lifetime from spiritual evolution and turned instead to the materialistic benefits science and medicine were promising us that would bring forth so much greed and destroy our bodies and our planet. We remained ignorant of the magnitude of love within ourselves that could have prevented so much suffering all the destruction to our health and our planet that transpired uniquely in the last century.
Babaji was most recently depicted in the yogic lotus pose on the cover of the Sergeant Pepper Band album, floating above the luminaries gathered around the “Love Troubadors” He influenced: John, Paul, Ringo and George.

The decision you make right now to read these words is perhaps the most important decision you will make in your life—a decision that will affect everything else you achieve and everything that happens to you from this time forward.
The keys to your happiness and to the flowering of your highest potential will come from future consciousness. The grandeur and innovation Frank Lloyd Wright achieved in architecture by bringing futuristic concepts to design, you can achieve in consciousness. The solutions humanity seeks are “out there.” Electricity always existed but it took Edison to harness it. Einstein, Tesla, as well as Edison all felt they were guided by a Higher Intelligence—clearly a “Future Intelligence” because what they discovered was not available in their present reality. Let’s imagine a future without wars and ill health, with abundant resources and creative solutions beyond our most lucid dreams. From our future perspective we will look at our present war-torn, heart-breaking philosophies as artifacts of a more primitive era.
You might consider Jesus or Buddha to be among the most enlightened beings who walked this planet in the past, and I would agree, but this idea also emphasizes that humanity has a long tradition of looking backwards in time for spiritual nourishment. How can we evolve looking backwards? Doesn’t looking backwards indicate a devolution? Look where we are today because of this, as we have been regressive in our spiritual search instead of progressive. We are less healthy, more ignorant of the sanctity of our eco-systems, with less stamina and capacity for greatness than many of the High Civilizations of the past. And look what this nostalgia for the past has achieved for us: over 6,000 wars in 3,000 years of human history! Most of these wars were and still are caused by the prejudice, intolerance and greed that breed in misguided followers of the religions of the past.
Take your imagination light years into the future and into the space beyond time. First, compare yourself to the most advanced civilization of that age. And then, imagine that you could imbibe the qualities of enlightenment in more advanced civilizations. Wouldn’t you absorb or download information that would be more relevant to our time than anything you might receive from cultures that thrived 2,000 or 3,000 years ago?
Just as Buddha was filled with compassion for all suffering beings, likewise there are Enlightened Beings in Higher Realms of the future, in other parts of the Universe, and beyond time and space who embody deep love and compassion for all life here on this planet. They will turn the mighty grace of their consciousness toward those who are reaching out and willing to receive.

Think of a tuning fork at rest. It isn’t until you strike it that it creates a tone. In the same way, there are Loving Unseen Forces that are poised to move you, just like a tuning fork is moved, into a higher, more melodic and harmonious vibratory frequency. They can’t force this upon you. You choose to be tuned, to be attuned to Higher Consciousness.
Become a Soul Traveler
To make contact with your Future Self is to learn how to relax so deeply you are able to let go of all past programming that imprisons you, so that you are free to travel at will in consciousness through the Atman.
Atman is a Sanskrit word that was originally introduced to the human race through the Upanishads nearly five thousand years ago. The Upanishads are the very heart of the Vedanta, which is all the body of knowledge within the various philosophies and religions devoted to achieving self realization. Within the Vedantic philosophy, the Upanishads are devoted to an explanation of the Atman.
Atman is the creative self-aware principle of the Universe. Think of the Atman as a pure bubble of self-aware, intelligent energy. Have you ever seen a soap bubble fly through the air? In a similar way, you can direct your Atman to fly toward the past or the future, or beyond time. In past life regressions, many thousands of people have successfully traveled through the Atman to experience a past life incarnation. Now, we can use the Atman to experience the Future Self.
Enter the Timeless Moment
To Receive the Higher Wisdom

You Can Then Use It for the Betterment of Your World

If you had a time machine, you could fast forward into the future and consult with your Future Self about any major life decision. Would this not be an awesome advantage in life? Well, you do have a time machine: the hidden power of your own brain and consciousness. The yogis have known for thousands of years how to travel within consciousness to receive answers. Now we have this ability in the World. But to fully utilize this ability, you must reprogram your subconscious to remove any limiting beliefs about yourself. And, you must remove the toxicity from your subconscious mind. You and I begin with this important purification of your subconscious, as we cleanse through Spiritual Hypnotherapy the 72,000 spiritual nerves or nadis that house all your past karmas and impressions. This process is a collaboration. I take you into the deepest states of spiritual hypnotherapy, and there you are empowered to accept or reject any program that you wish to emphasize or eliminate.

Just as the yogis were called, and the Hebrews, Egyptians, Greeks and Mayans were called, the stellar achievers of the Age of Enlightenment were called, and the Founding Fathers and Mothers of this first planetary democracy were called, at this time in history many, many souls are being called to take spiritual birth and blossom. They are the virtual legion of parents, poets, artists, teachers, musicians, film makers, writers, scientists, doctors, researchers, entrepreneurs, dancers and healers—the Light Workers, Path Guides, and Love Bearers, who are so necessary now on this planet. The process involves elevating your vibratory field, which was first measured at Yale in the 1930s. (The scientific term is the L-Field.)
The spiritual birth is only a potential. An acorn contains the oak tree, but think of all the acorns that never sprout. Your evolution requires nourishment, and this is what so many now are frantically seeking. It is a process you undergo, which I was meant to experience firsthand as a child and then called to relive many times before I was called to India, where I had the ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE of this process in the presence of my beloved Master Babaji. He transformed me with his Touch, and in a fire ceremony, and through his power over the senses, matter and the wind. There he blessed me beyond anything I can express, in order that I would be able to give this ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE to you who are so deserving of the Love He sends to you now.
What must be given is a sensitive and skillfully executed attunement to higher frequencies of love that include your bliss, compassion and peace—your prema—the highest and purest experience of the Divine Love within you as you.
Are You Being Called?
I believe that since you are reading this letter, you are being called, but not to India. The Grand Design is that you are to attain higher states of Future Consciousness—not in retreat—but at this time in the World. Travel to India is more and more costly and difficult, and you may have responsibilities to family and career that prevent such a pilgrimage. And even if you could handle the demand on your time, energy and health such a trip requires, there is no guarantee you would find what you now must attain. One can easily return from India without the tools to ascend to a higher life experience.
In India, Babaji spoke to me about the millions of Sweet Souls ready “to taste the Nectar of Immortality.” He also explained, “The World now needs a Swami, and so I am sending you.” When I asked how I would find these special souls, who are now ready and yearning to rise to loftier and loftier heights, the answer resounded, “I will send you everyone.”

The Grand and Luminescent Temple of Light
This is where your attunements take place that raise your vibratory frequency to the new level now required on this planet for spiritual enlightenment in this era. I am not equating spiritual success as so many spiritual leaders today are with worldly success. What Carl Sagan referred to as the Pale Blue Dot was a teaching that on this planet highly successful worldly leaders—emperors, kings and queens and generals—have slaughtered millions of innocent people in their greed for greater and greater levels of worldly wealth and recognition. On this microscopic Dot called Planet Earth, in this Infinite Cosmic Sea, there is no reason to trump up our egos on worldly success. It’s a fleeting condition at best.
The attunements to a higher vibratory frequency allow you to rise to your dharmic destiny. Like Gandhi and Mother Theresa, you receive insights, not just for yourself, but for humankind and the suffering of all beings everywhere. Buddha was called by the Mahatmas as a young prince, and again during his long fasts and meditations. They attuned him because his fasting and prayer brought him closer to these Unseen Beings. You have worked hard as a spiritual seeker, and I have been given the mission to bring you to them now. You will enter the Temple of Light with me during the process of Spiritual Hypnotherapy when you have achieved the skills and the sufficient level of Higher Consciousness to be able to travel with me there. There will be many attunements and you will feel each one cumulatively in your life. This all comes after the clearing of the nadis and the weeding of your subconscious garden.
The Mahatmas who are waiting to attune you are Soul Surgeons, doctoring your karma, allowing you to participate in communion with the Highest Conscious Beings for the Force of Good in the Universe.
You cannot pour new wine into old cups. We first empty the vessel in this unique training, and then we fill it with the clear waters of Conscious Spirit—the Universal Life Energy.
A Unique Design for Spiritual Enlightenment
Medical Hypnotherapy was developed specifically for physicians who needed an anesthetic for surgery before chemical anesthesia was created. James Esdaile pioneered this field, and I am among a very small group of professionals in this field who have deeply absorbed his work. Esdaile was so highly skilled at hypnotherapy that he was able to place his patients into the deepest trance states and perform pain-free limb amputations! Studying Esdaile’s work, I realized that he knew about turiya—the powerful state of yogic sleep that I experienced with Babaji and have been able to travel to ever since—beyond even what the highly evolved yogis knew. In fact, since he was practicing in India, he was probably the leading medical expert at the time on the relationship between hypnotherapy and yoga. Today, I am that leading expert, going far beyond anything Esdaile was able to achieve.
Esdaile actually brought more to yoga than the yogis did, because he was a surgeon who understood human anatomy, neurology, and the nervous system. Esdaile focused his efforts on anesthesia. What he uncovered was that every patient he interviewed after surgery described an experience of deep euphoria.
Esdaile discovered states of consciousness related to hypnosis that were the deepest levels of hypnotherapy. But he missed the relationship between the blossoming of our human potential and hypnotherapy and yoga. This discovery would birth in me because of my lifelong and natural love of God, and guided to do so by the Futuristic Babaji and the Mahatmas. It turns out that I would be the first person to bring together the discoveries through four seemingly different fields to create:

In my pursuit of the higher levels of human consciousness, I have spent a lifetime in formal study and mastery of the keys to help you unlock doors out of your present prison. During this time, I went through the curriculum of chiropractic at Palmer College—the finest chiropractic university in the world. Like Dr. Esdaile, I mastered anatomy, neurology, and the nervous system, as well as the muscular-skeletal system. My goal was to prove to myself that each one of us is far stronger, more intelligent and aware than we could ever possibly imagine—that there exists a Self Beyond our Present Self—a Super Self—a Future Self. It has always been my life purpose to help others achieve this magnificence.
Even in my youth, I placed my focus on the highest potential of the mind and body. I was fortunate to be drawn to study with eleven of the greatest yoga and martial arts masters in my twenties and thirties. During three years in the military, I was the Zen roshi in a barracks of African Americans, where I was placed as an experiment in the desegregation of the military. I enrolled my fellow soldiers into Zen meditation through my example. They wondered how I could remain so peaceful during the trials of rigorous military life. We helped a young female sergeant pass from this plane peacefully from cancer in the Zen Buddhist-style, sitting in Zen meditation for hours in her hospital room, as she sat in Zen meditation in her hospital bed. I was trained in military Intelligence, after which I gave back to my country for my education and military training, devoting ten years of my life to teaching troubled children what I believed was missing from our school system and our society, and turning as many as I could into achievers, restoring their sense of self.
At that same time I was immersed in the fullest exploration of the Eight Levels of Yoga, including the most complex techniques of meditation—an ongoing three decade exploration that culminated in the 90’s as I was prompted to add to my studies a Ph.D. in the Western Science of Medical and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
I recognize that everything I have found comprises what I am now bringing to the world with my beloved Leelamayi. My Initiation with Babaji
I was fortunate as a child that my father had a copy of Paramahansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi in his library. I poured over this book at the age of eight, and when I read the chapters on Babaji, I prayed to the King of the Yogis, who Yogananda described as “the One who guides the spiritual prophets and evolution on this planet in every era.”
My youthful, heartfelt prayer to Babaji was that he would guide my life and one day bring me to Him.
I spent a quarter-century on countless pilgrimages to India in my search for the Absolute Experience of God. On November 19, 1997, I unexpectedly traveled to India one last time. I had no plans to do so—having only returned the previous evening from a publicity tour in Australia. I awoke early, after only a few hours sleep, and I knew the moment I opened my eyes that I would be leaving that very day for India. I had no ticket, no visa, no suitable clothes for such a journey, but, by dusk that very night, I was on a plane heading for Frankfurt and would continue on to Bombay and Bangalore.
Only three days later, the long-forgotten prayers of my childhood were answered. On November 22, 1997, I found myself standing outside the iron gate of a remote temple compound in Southern India. A radiant white-robed figure in the distance, surrounded by a small coterie of swamis, beckoned to me with a friendly gesture to enter and join him.
Suddenly, my body no longer moved under my control.
I was drawn through a kaleidoscopic passing
Beyond time and space to the hallowed ground
Where I sat at the feet of the legendary King of the Yogis,
The Immortal Maha-Avatar, Sri Babaji.
In a timeless, day-long darshan,
Bathed in the near-blinding radiance
Of this spectacularly magnificent Cosmic Being,
